The family events in Johnson City, TN are different in many ways. Some yards are freshly cut and smell like a candy land that is full of candy. Events have laughter as loud as an orchestra. Some drive their boats on the lake that emit gas that smells terrible, but it is still fun to do. There was music that filled the room with rock and roll. My cousins loved this music and were dancing a lot. Even my mom and dad were dancing to the music. There were boat rides where someone would try to hold on to the inner-tube without falling off in to the water. Also you could water ski on the lake and show off your moves to everyone. My family and I were talking about topics that are going on today like school when someone was water-skiing or on the inner-tube. After the boat ride the family would back up to the Bear Lodge and have a juicy carp and hotdogs for dinner. The meal was great and everyone complemented on how great the food was. The family event always ends in a boom at the Bear Lodge. Fireworks were about to be set off by and when I got ready to light the firework I felt the hard driveway scraping on my knee.
